Bridgestone Regional Manager Cole Willford presented $20,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County on June 28 at the Nicholas & Louella Martin Branch in honor of National Tire Safety Week.

“It was a great surprise for me, personally,” Willford said.

The children participated in a Car Care Clinic, where Bridgestone employees helped teach the children about tire tread, tire pressure, oil levels and how to jump a battery.

Tarrant County’s branch is one of 20 clubs nationwide to receive $20,000 raised by Bridgestone’s Driving Great Futures initiative. In April 2022, Bridgestone donated a brand new van for the club’s daily needs.
