Argent Trust Company, a subsidiary of Argent Financial Group, announced that it has hired Jonathan D. Berry as senior vice president.

In this role, Berry will help lead the local trust management team, including facilitating new business development and relationships while providing customized client solutions. Based in Fort Worth, Berry will report directly to Kathy Christoffel, Fort Worth market president.

“Argent Trust Company is pleased to welcome Jonathan to our Fort Worth office,” said Christoffel. “With extensive experience as an attorney as well as an advisor in the insurance and financial services industries, we believe our team and our clients will benefit from Jonathan’s expertise. I’m confident he will serve as a leader to his fellow Argent team members and as a trusted advisor to clients.”

Berry brings over 14 years of experience within the financial industry. Before joining Argent, Berry served as an attorney and counselor at law, at Jonathan D. Berry, PLLC. He also owned Covenant Insurance Solutions, operating as an insurance and financial advisor.

Berry earned his bachelor of science degree in psychology with a business minor, and his juris doctorate degree, both from Texas A&M University. He is currently on the board of directors for The Cause Agency and Guardianship Services, Inc. He is also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Rotary Club of Fort Worth.
