Methodist Mansfield Medical Center has named Crystal Brown its vice president of operations. Brown’s role will focus on general hospital operations with emphasis on patient satisfaction. She will oversee 13 departments including oversight of numerous construction projects.

Before joining Methodist Mansfield, Crystal served as Director of Operations for Baylor Scott and White The Heart Hospitals in Plano, Denton, and McKinney. She has more than 21 years of healthcare leadership experience, serving in operations, human resources, supply chain, strategic planning and business development across a number of hospitals in Texas.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Northwood University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and also serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion corporate council committee for the Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas.
She has received several awards during her 21-year tenure and has a record for improving employee engagement and hospital operations.
