FORT WORTH, Texas (Nov 2, 2022) – The Greatest Gift Catalog Ever—a holiday catalog that features the fundraising needs of nonprofits—is celebrating its 15th year in Tarrant County by highlighting unique ways to support 24 area charities.
Founded in 2007, the Greatest Gift Catalog Ever has become a powerful engine for local philanthropy by increasing awareness and fundraising prospects for a wide range of charitable organizations. Launching this month, the 2022 catalog showcases well-known nonprofits like Meals on Wheels, Ronald McDonald House, Alzheimer’s Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Boys & Girls Club. It also provides exposure for lesser known charities like The Welman Project, Academy 4, Camp John Marc and others. Three organizations new to the Catalog this year are the Fort Worth Zoo, New Day Services and Wings of Hope Equitherapy.
Donations made through the catalog are tax deductible, and 100% goes directly to the organization selected. The catalog also provides dollar-for-dollar matching funds, up to $276,500. “There is a lot of important work going on in this community and these organizations need our support more than ever,” said Elliot Goldman, founder of The Greatest Gift Catalog Ever. “It can be difficult to decide where our contributions can make the biggest impact. The Greatest Gift Catalog Ever is designed to shine a light on the best-of-the-best among our local nonprofits. It’s truly a one-stop shop if you want to make a difference throughout our community this holiday season.”
In addition to accepting donations, the catalog offers gift cards that allow a donor to get a tax deduction and the recipient to choose where a donation should be directed. There is also an “I Want It All” option that allows potential donors to fund every program and service featured in the Catalog. “I’ve been told many times that the Greatest Gift Catalog Ever is so unique it could only work in a place like Tarrant County,” Goldman said. “And that’s because the nonprofits and residents of our community understand we are all stronger when we work together and support each other.”
Founded in 2007, “The Greatest Gift Catalog Ever” was created by local businessman Elliot Goldman and his wife Heather as a way to raise funds and awareness for local charities. The catalog is managed by the National Leadership Foundation, a nonprofit organization that distributes 100% of donations to participating organizations.
Gift purchases can be made online, by phone or by mail. Catalogs are available at 80 Texas Healthcare offices and more than 400 locations throughout Tarrant County. For more information, go to www.thegreatestgiftcatalogever.org or www.tggce.org.
