Tarrant County-based Worthington Bank announced that Lucas Sawyer, former Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending, has been promoted and now serves as the Market President of the Edwards Ranch location.
Sawyer has over 17 years of banking experience in the Fort Worth market.
In this new role as President of the Clearfork Market, most of his time will be spent helping small businesses grow through access to capital and by lowering their cost of doing business.
Sawyer believes the Edwards Ranch office has an impressive, seasoned team who loves the communities where they all live, work, and play. As we approach the end of 2022, “The team’s goal is to help better equip clients for what 2023 might look like for their businesses. We often gauge our success by how well our clients are doing in
their businesses and, in any way we can, we want to help position them for continued success into 2023 and beyond,” said Sawyer
Sawyer has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration from Indiana University. Sawyer continues to be a steward for others through his community involvement. He has been active with the Fort Worth Business Center, Cowtown Executive Association, Tarrant County Professionals Group (Co-founder),
Troup Family Missions, his church and many other non-profit organizations.
