Students across Fort Worth are counting down the days.

Yes, for Christmas and other holidays. But also for the start of their two-week winter break.

Unsure of when the break starts for your school district? The Fort Worth Report gathered the schedules for the 12 school districts in the city.

Aledo ISD

Aledo ISD has an early release day on Dec. 16.

Winter break begins Dec. 19 and ends Jan. 3. Students hit the books on Jan. 4.

Burleson ISD

Burleson ISD starts its winter break later than other Fort Worth-area districts. The district has an early release day on Dec. 21.

Winter break begins Dec. 22 and ends Jan. 6. Students return to school on Jan. 9.

Castleberry ISD

On Dec. 16, Castleberry ISD students will have early dismissal. Students will get out two hours before their regular dismissal time, according to the district. 

Winter break will be in full swing starting Dec. 19. The last day of the break is Jan. 2. Students return to class on Jan. 3.

Crowley ISD

Crowley ISD will end its first semester of the year with two days of early release. High school students will have early dismissal on Dec. 15. The next day on Dec. 16, the entire district will have early release.

The two-week winter break begins Dec. 19 and ends Jan. 4. Students return to class on Jan. 5.

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD students will begin their winter break with an early release day on Dec. 16.

Winter break begins Dec. 19 and ends Dec. 30. Students return to school on Jan. 3.

Everman ISD

Some Everman ISD campuses have an early release day on Dec. 15. They include Joe C. Bean High School, Academy High School, Baxter Junior High and Roy Johnson STEM Academy.

On Dec. 16, all schools have early dismissal.

Winter break begins Dec. 19 and ends Jan. 3. Students return Jan. 4.

Fort Worth ISD

Fort Worth ISD students will kick off their break Dec. 16. That day will be a day off for students, while staff still will work.

After that staff day, winter break will officially begin Dec. 19 and end Jan. 3.

Fort Worth ISD students will return to class on Jan. 4.

Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD

Like other Fort Worth-area districts, HEB ISD kicks off its winter break with early dismissal on Dec. 16

Students begin their break Dec. 19. The last day of winter break is Jan. 4. 

Classes resume Jan. 5.

Keller ISD

All campuses in Keller ISD will release early on Dec. 16 to mark the end of the first semester of the 2022-23 school year.

No classes will be held Dec. 19 to Jan. 2 for winter break. Students return to classes on Jan. 3.

Lake Worth ISD

Lake Worth ISD students do not have school on Dec. 16.

Winter break begins Dec. 19 and ends Jan. 3. Students return to classes on Jan. 4.

Northwest ISD

Northwest ISD students will have an early release on Dec. 16

Winter break starts Dec. 19 and ends Jan. 4. Students return to class on Jan. 5.

White Settlement ISD

White Settlement ISD students start their winter break on Dec. 19. They are off until Jan. 6. Students have three weeks for winter break.

Students return to school on Jan. 9.
