TCU student and member of the TCU Dutchmen Brady Raboin cheers for his college at the College Football Playoff National Championship game watch party on Jan. 9 at Schollmaier Arena, 3000 Stadium Drive. (Cristian ArguetaSoto | Fort Worth Report)

I captured my favorite image of the week on Jan. 9.

More than 3,000 TCU fans filled the Schollmaier Arena to watch their team compete against the Georgia Bulldogs for the national title.

The Horned Frogs are the first team to make it to the championship game after being unranked in the preseason — they sought their first national title since 1938, but fell flat.

In this image, Brady Raboin, a TCU student and member of the Dutchmen, screams in the hallway outside the Schollmaier Arena as he hypes up fans.

The photo captures the passion of TCU students and alumni as their football team competed in the College Football Playoff National Championship in Inglewood, California.

From a TCU football watch party to a send off celebration, our photojournalist at the Fort Worth Report captures the diversity of events through images of the week.
