The Chief Operating Officer of Texas Trust Credit Union, Ginia Chapline, has retired.
The 15-year credit union veteran took the reigns as COO in 2020 after serving as the Senior Vice President of Talent.
During her career at Texas Trust, Chapline helped cultivate the credit union’s people-focused culture that has made the credit union an employer of choice.
Ginia Chapline, COO of Texas Trust Credit Union, retired from the credit union after serving there more than 15 years.
As COO Chapline was instrumental in leading the credit union through its biggest challenge in its history – the pandemic. She took the reins as COO only a few weeks before the businesses began shutting down and sending employees home. Her background in HR coupled with her people skills were essential in helping steer Texas Trust through the crisis, keeping every employee on the payroll and working to keep them safe and secure throughout the situation.
Chapline also helped structure the Texas Trust Gives Foundation, the charitable arm of the credit union, and established its vision and mission. She was active in the industry, serving as a volunteer for numerous charity functions as well as on the Board of the Ft. Worth Chapter of Credit Unions, where she was dean of the group’s Leadership Academy.
In retirement Chapline plans to spend time with her grandchildren, her garden and travel with her husband.
