Whitley Penn has added Charles Sulak, Risk Advisory Services Managing Director to the firm.
With career experience spanning public accounting, consulting, and corporate leadership, Sulak collaborates with management teams to implement strategic internal audit and risk management solutions designed to achieve their business objectives. Specifically, he has in-depth experience in Corporate Governance and Controls, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity, Financial Operations and Reporting, Regulatory Compliance, IPO Readiness, and Digital Transformation.
Sulak is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He has also been a featured speaker for various professional organizations including the IIA, ISACA, and the Dallas Bar Association. He has lectured at the graduate and undergraduate levels at The University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University.
Sulak received his BBA and MS in Accounting from Texas A&M University. More recently, he obtained executive development certificates from Harvard Business Publishing and Southern Methodist University Cox Business School’s Executive Development Program.
