At its 2023 Winter Meeting, Texas Realtors named Joanne Justice of the Arlington Board of Realtors the 2022 Realtor of the Year. Justice began her career in 1971 and has since made invaluable contributions to fellow Realtors and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
As a 21-year-old, she rose to manager of Elouise Bauer Real Estate in Arlington (which was acquired by Paula Stringer Realtors). She then worked her way up to branch manager for what later became Merrill Lynch Realty, then became vice president at Century 21 Sutherland before moving to Coldwell Banker in 1992. Justice is the broker of record at NRT Texas/Coldwell Banker Realty, where she supports more than 2,500 branch managers and agents.
“Realtor of the Year is truly one of the most prestigious awards in our industry, and I’m honored to be the latest recipient,” said Justice. “With such a wonderful community of talented Realtors throughout the state, I’m humbled to be recognized by Texas Realtors.”
In 1971, Justice joined the Arlington Board of Realtors and immediately began to make her mark. She served on numerous committees and on the board of directors, of which she was elected president in 1983. She has received a number of prestigious awards from the Arlington Board of Realtors including the President’s Meritorious Service Award and the Realtor of the Year Award. Joanne is also a recipient of the Texas Realtors Distinguished Service Award and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Realtor Emeritus Award. A current NAR director, she additionally earned the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement from the NAR.
