Overwatch Fund Founder, Chairman, and CEO Ben Loughry on Feb. 21 announced the addition of three executives to the Fort Worth private equity real estate firm leadership team. The three combined offer decades of experience in commercial real estate development and investment, finance, banking, and business development.

We are now invested and continue to actively invest in Dallas, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, South Texas, Austin, Nashville, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Oklahoma with several more opportunities on the horizon. Even with a possible slowdown in the economy, we are preparing for growth,” said Ben Loughry, Overwatch Chairman and CEO. “We have invested in 50 properties, comprised of over 10,000 multifamily units and over 650,000 square feet of industrial with an initial transaction value of $1.34 billion. These additions to our leadership will ensure a continued optimal level of efficiency and superior growth that our partners deserve and expect.”


Until 2021, Betsy Price served 10 years as Mayor of Fort Worth, the longest serving Mayor in the city’s history.


She has joined Overwatch as Senior Executive of Business Development and will work directly with our partners and investors. Before being elected Tarrant County Tax Assessor Collector in 2000, Betsy was founder and CEO of a successful business for 17 years.


After eleven years at Crescent Real Estate/Goff Capital Partners serving in many diverse roles, including treasury, accounting and leading investor relations, Tina Bond has joined Overwatch as Chief Financial Officer.


While with Goff Capital Partners/Crescent, Tina helped administer two funds totaling $450 million in equity.
During Tina’s tenure, Crescent Real Estate became a real estate operating company and an SEC-registered investment advisory firm with investments under management, development, and investment capacity of more than $10 billion.


Barry Kromann, a leading Tarrant County banking executive with 35 years in leadership roles is joining Overwatch as Principal effective February 1, 2023. He comes to the firm from First National Bank, where he was Market President. Previously, he was with Bank One, Texas Capital Bank, and Area President for Independent Financial. Barry has been an active real estate investor during the past 20 years while participating in over 85 commercial real estate transactions including multi-family, industrial, and office sectors representing over $4 billion in assets.

Our new executives will be joining Overwatch Founder Ben Loughry, who is a well-known expert in the realm estate arena, and Blake Lloyd, an Overwatch Principal with over 20 years of commercial real estate experience who joined the firm from Trammell Crow/CBRE.
