FORT WORTH, Texas –Charly Petrek has joined the Will Memorial Center (WRMC) sales team as Sales and Events Manager.

“We’re very fortunate to have Charly Petrek join our sales team and bring her experience and knowledge of the equestrian industry to our clients and staff,” said Kevin Kemp, general manager of WRMC.

Petrek was formerly an event coordinator for WRMC for more than seven years, and has worked in arenas, ballparks, stadiums and multipurpose facilities during the course of her career.

“I have been on the production side of just about every kind of event imaginable, but my passion is working for the equestrian industry,” said Petrek. “I am excited to join the sales team and introduce new clients and guests to WRMC — where memories are made, champions are crowned and communities come together to enjoy family fun.”

Petrek comes from a ranching family and grew up around rodeos and the cutting horse industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of Venue Management School at Oglebay National Training Center in West Virginia.
