Cadence Insurance, Inc., a subsidiary of Cadence Bank (NYSE: CADE), announced today that Kristin Lonergan has joined the organization as Dallas/Fort Worth market president. Lonergan has nearly 40 years of insurance experience and a specialty for understanding the industry.

Prior to joining Cadence Insurance, Lonergan served for nearly 23 years as partner and executive vice president for a Dallas-based insurance brokerage firm. A second generation insurance specialist, she holds the Certified Insurance Counselor designation and is well versed in risk management, executive management liability, commercial property and casualty, personal lines, employee benefits, and life insurance.

Lonergan is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas and the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. She currently serves as an executive board member for Bio North Texas, as well as the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association and the Junior Assembly of North Dallas. Additionally, she supports a variety of community groups including Saint Patrick’s Catholic School and its board, Bishop Lynch High School, the Salvation Army, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Hendrick Academy, St. Vincent DePaul Society and Meals on Wheels.
