Quorum Architects, a Fort Worth architecture and interior design firm announces the hiring of Andrea Gomez as Interior Design Intern. Andrea graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2022. She also holds a minor in Architecture from Texas Tech.

Quorum’s interior design team provides services for a wide variety of clients including municipal, corporate, industrial and retail. They manage their own projects and often work with architecture team members to support clients.

“Andrea received the opportunity to learn some of the drawing programs that we utilize as early as high school,” says Principal, Karin Taylor. “She has technical skills that exceed the level of most of her peers.”

A first generation college graduate, Andrea’s desire for higher learning has inspired other members of her family to follow suit. Now, she’s exciting to be able to focus on her professional goals which include gaining diverse project experience and becoming licensed.

“Ever since I was a young girl growing up in El Paso, I’ve dreamed of becoming an interior designer,” says Andrea.

Since joining Quorum, Andrea has assisted the team with several tenant improvement projects, a financial client’s finish out and a municipal water treatment project.

Adds Andrea, “I love bouncing ideas around and collaborating with the other interior designers and architects to bring the client’s vision to life. It’s a very generous atmosphere.”

Andrea joins Molly Shurtz, Junior Designer and Karin Taylor, Director of Interior Design on Quorum’s interior design team.
