Brian Miller, M.S., LPC, has been appointed Camp Fire First Texas’ Interim President/CEO
He previously served as Camp Fire’s current vice president of outdoor and facilities. The Camp Fire Board of Directors will soon open a search for a permanent replacement.

Miller began as the Council’s vice president of outdoor overseeing strategic direction and implementation of all programs at Camp El Tesoro in February 2018 and later his role was expanded to encompass facility oversight for the entire organization. He began his Camp Fire connection as an annual El Tesoro de la Vida grief camp volunteer in 1993. Previously, Brian worked in the role of a clinical services supervisor at Centene, and advanced through a number of leadership and clinical roles in his ten-year employment at MHMR of Tarrant County. He holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Abilene Christian University and a Bachelor of Science from Texas Christian University. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas
