The Southwest High School Robotics Team qualified for the World Competition in Houston after competing in two district events and earning a competitive state score.

The competition involves highly-skilled students from across the country, and the Southwest team has spent months designing, building, and programming its robot.

The experience has given the team members valuable skills and knowledge, and generous scholarships are available for beginning and advanced robotics, according to Fort Worth ISD officials. The team’s success highlights the rewards of dedication and hard work.
