Four Fort Worth ISD students are headed to the University Interscholastic League’s State Academic Competition.

Four students placed high enough at a recent UIL Regional Academic Competition to qualify for the state meet. They will compete May 17-18 in Austin.

Sekela Nzai of Southwest High School placed first in news writing.

Mikey Glass of Arlington Heights High School placed second in Lincoln-Douglas debate.

Cooper Morse of Marine Creek Collegiate High School placed third in current events and issues.

Tyler Hathcock of IM Terrell Academy for STEM and Visual Performing Arts placed third in computer science.
