Personal headline: first cuddles after mother son reunite since August
My 6 year old son, nicknamed RAD for his initials, went to live with his dad in Alaska for the past school year. We hadn’t seen each other in person since August prior to him starting 1st grade. This was a very special moment shared between us that I am so glad was caught on camera. It was a long year for us both—especially not seeing him for the holidays. How we felt is complete in our expressions during our first cuddles here. To be together is to feel complete. He was the best Mother’s Day gift.
