Camp Fire First Texas has announced the appointment of Jenny Wester as the organization’s new Vice President of Youth Development. With a strong background in youth engagement, education, and leadership, Wester brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the Camp Fire team.
In her role as Vice President of Youth Development, Wester will oversee and lead the strategic direction of
Camp Fire’s afterschool programs, Teens in Action, and school-based day camp programs, ensuring that the
organization continues to provide high-quality, innovative, and impactful experiences for young people in North
Texas.

Prior to joining Camp Fire, Wester was Vice President of Product Program, Retail and Customer Experience at
the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains. She has previously held positions with DHL/EXCEL.
Wester has been involved in several local organizations, including Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA)
Tarrant County, Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, SteerFW, Civic
Engagement, and Leadership Fort Worth.
Wester is a graduate of the University of North Texas (UNT), Denton, where she earned a Bachelor of
Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurship in 2008.
