Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church is hosting a free STEM EXPO for its students and families on Saturday, October 14, 2023. At the STEM EXPO, students (K-12) will engage in hands-on, high-energy learning experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math, learn financial literacy, speak with STEM professionals, and have SAT preparation. Mt. Hebron is partnering with Chase Bank and Gideon Learning of Garland, which will provide training and information to students.

Participation in the activities aims to get students excited about the STEM fields and help them build skills in creativity, teamwork, collaboration, and communication. Students will gain exposure to potential future career paths they may have yet to consider. Staff from Mt. Hebron and members of Mt. Hebron will be volunteering to help make the event run smoothly. Lunch will be provided.
