LEBANON, Tenn., (Sept. 4, 2023) – Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® is proud to announce its newest location in Fort Worth, Texas. Starting today, Cracker Barrel will open its doors to guests in Fort Worth who will experience a unique, family-friendly restaurant that combines dining and shopping in an environment full of care and hospitality. To commemorate its arrival, Cracker Barrel is extending its care into the community by making a $10,000 donation to Tarrant Area Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America® network, to demonstrate care to local families in need and support the food bank’s mission to end hunger.
“We are looking forward to bringing our mission of Pleasing People, our high-quality, homemade food and a unique shopping experience to both the local Fort Worth community and visitors,” said General Manager Clifton Flood. “It is an honor to be a home-away-from-home for every guest that comes through our doors, and we can’t wait to do that in our new store.”
Cracker Barrel’s 55th location in Texas is part of its plan to deliver the unique experience that has made the brand so beloved across the country to new guests. Cracker Barrel’s new store has created over 180 full- and part-time jobs that will help bring the Cracker Barrel dining and shopping experience to the Fort Worth Alliance community. Across the country, including in Fort Worth, Cracker Barrel teams work hard to create a culture of care and hospitality that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive to everyone who walks through its doors.
As an extension of the Cracker Barrel Food for Families initiative, which launched in November 2021, Cracker Barrel made a commitment to help alleviate hunger in each community in which it opens a new location by joining forces with local Feeding America member food banks. In Fort Worth, Cracker Barrel is partnering with Tarrant Area Food Bank and presenting a $10,000 donation which will help provide funds for up to 70,000 meals* for families in need throughout the community.
At Cracker Barrel, breakfast is available all day with lunch and dinner options beginning at 11 a.m. Cracker Barrel serves authentic, high-quality, homestyle meals like chicken n’ dumplins prepared from scratch or tender, slow-roasted roast beef. Each Cracker Barrel features authentic memorabilia and décor that reflect our unique American culture and the community. Cracker Barrel’s new store celebrates the history and culture of Fort Worth through decorative walls, unique to the store, like a rodeo-themed wall, as well as vintage Fort Worth postcards depicting well-known areas of town.
The store will be open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Traditional in-store pickup, curbside pickup and contactless delivery options are also available by ordering through the Cracker Barrel mobile app or at crackerbarrel.com.
