Fort Worth, TX (September 17, 2023) – Clearfork Community Church is pleased to
announce its opening to the public. The church plant is opening its doors to the
community with a launch event including but not limited to the presence of Heim
Barbecue and Melt Ice Cream. Clearfork Community Church is currently meeting in the
CERA multi-purpose center and offers a community approach to church life for any
resident of Fort Worth and the surrounding area.

Clearfork Community Church is partnering with Watermark Fort Worth to bring much
needed community fellowship in the wake of the Covid Pandemic. “Mayor Mattie Parker
has declared that isolation and lack of relationships is one of the greatest problems in
Fort Worth,” said Jeff Sanders, Clearfork’s Senior Pastor. “We believe that the church is
uniquely built to meet the need for genuine, lasting, and meaningful relationships with
both people and God.”

“Fort Worth is the fastest growing city in the nation, and the third largest city in the
nation,” said Michael Powell, Clearfork’s Pastor of Missional Communities. “There are
currently not enough churches to keep up with the pace of growth of this city. We have
a significant opportunity to proclaim Christ to those who don’t know Him and make
disciples.”

“Just like Jesus sought to serve and not be served, we hope to be service-oriented in
our community through relationships with others and works of charity,” said Matt
Pacholczyk, one of Clearfork’s leading elders. “We want the community to see us as
refreshing and helpful rather than burdensome and apathetic.”

Clearfork Community Church is a church plant of Watermark Fort Worth, which has had
a presence in Fort Worth since 2013. “I pray that Clearfork Community Church is a
place where many can come to find salvation from sin and newness of life through a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “said Tyler Briggs, an elder and teaching pastor
at Watermark Fort Worth. “I also pray that Clearfork stands out as a beacon of hope for
residents in the Clearfork area as they tangibly love their neighbors in word and deed.”

Clearfork Community Church is currently meeting in the Trinity Room inside the CERA
at 3300 Bryant Irvin Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76109. Services will be held every Sunday
at 10:00am. Directly following the service on September 17, 2023, there will be launch
event which will include Heim Barbecue, Melt Ice Cream, games, and live music. This
event is open to any resident of Fort Worth or the surrounding area who desires a
church home that fosters authentic connections with others in the faith.

According to Clearfork’s website, their “vision is to see God change lives in the city of
Fort Worth and the world by the transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ, impacting communities with love, grace, hope, and fostering a culture of unity and
compassion.” Additional information can be found at www.clearforkchurch.org.
