Lauren Parks is a ninth-grade physics teacher at Marine Creek Collegiate High School in Fort Worth ISD.

She is an alumna of Fort Worth ISD. She graduated as salutatorian from Western Hills High School in 2015. All through high school she was a part of Color Guard. Originally she chose pre-med, but she found a different path and went on her way to graduate from the University of North Texas with a degree in physics.

Parks went on to work in different fields during this time, but a Fort Worth ISD hiring fair led her to Marine Creek Collegiate High School.

She is extremely knowlegable in her field and is considering higher learning, her mother, Courtney Parks, said.
