Who we are
We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization – we provide local journalism of the people, by the people and for the people.
Fort Worth Report launched in 2021 to fill the community’s desire for more news about local government, schools, business, arts and culture, the environment, health care and other important issues.
In October 2022, Fort Worth Report was named as the best new large publisher at a national independent journalism contest.
Local Independent Online News, a professional organization of over 400 US and Canadian independent news publishers, also chose Fort Worth Report as a finalist in three other categories.
