Born and raised in the North Side of Fort Worth. Juan Salinas II is a reporting fellow. He is a Tarrant County College transfer student who is currently studying journalism at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he also works as a reporter for the school newspaper, The Shorthorn. His reporting has appeared in Central Track, D Magazine and Fort Worth Weekly.
