Arlington ISD released the 2024 locations for the Summer Food Service Program, including a new partnership with Arlington libraries, where it will provide free meals for children and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old.

No ID or reservation is required for children to pick up meals, and they don’t need to be an AISD student or an Arlington resident. Meals must be eaten on-site.

The statewide program is administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture.

“With nearly 2 million under-resourced children living in Texas, these healthy meals are vital to nourishing young Texans during the summer vacation,” David Lewis, Arlington ISD executive director of food and nutrition services, said in a press release.
