JPS Health Network is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Medical Home Southwest Tarrant, a future primary care clinic. The facility is part of the JPS Bond Program approved by voters to expand and modernize facilities across the Tarrant County.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the corner of Granbury Road and Mesa Springs Drive in Fort Worth. Parking will be available onsite. Light refreshments will be provided.

The new medical home is located in the 76123 zip code and will primarily serve residents of Fort Worth’s Wedgwood neighborhood in Southwest Tarrant County. This community showed the highest growth and the greatest need for additional healthcare services.

The medical home model allows patients to access care under one roof for convenience and efficiency. The new clinic will include primary care services as well as other ancillary healthcare services to address the socioeconomic needs of the community.

The property was purchased from Kroger Texas for the price of $4,050,000. The clinic will be built by Byrne
Construction Services, Post L Group and SBL Architecture. Visit YestoJPS.org for all JPS Bond Program updates.
