FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Tradition Senior Living, LP, owner, developer, and operator of luxury senior living communities in Texas, announces the opening of The Tradition-Clearfork in Fort Worth. A rental community with no large buy-in fee, the nine-story Independent Living community is located on approximately six acres along the Trinity River at 5755 Clearfork Main Street, Fort Worth, Texas, 76109. The five-story Assisted Living and Memory Care communities are adjacent at 3033 Acme Brick Plaza.
Ideally situated in the heart of Fort Worth and overlooking the Trinity River, the community is part of the Clearfork mixed-use development, which includes the upscale Shops at Clearfork, restaurants from American to international cuisine—and Texas Health Clearfork.
The Tradition-Clearfork provides a continuum of care, including 202 Independent Living residences and 95 Assisted Living/Memory Care residences. Such a number of high-end residences should help fill the needs of an ever-increasing baby-boom population.
“The opening of The Tradition-Clearfork marks an important day for The Tradition, and our reception in Fort Worth has been extraordinary,” said Jonathan Perlman, Sr., President and CEO of Tradition Senior Living, LP. “Our fifth Texas Community to date – with previous locations in Dallas and Houston – continues our standard of developing preeminent senior living communities.”
One of the elements that sets The Tradition apart, he says, is the beauty in the common areas, which are also warm and welcoming environments that are consistent with every Tradition community. “But beauty,” he added, “is just the beginning. Foundational to all of our communities are the extraordinary services, the amenities, and, especially in the Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, the care.”
The company was founded by Jonathan Perlman, Sr. Mr. Perlman’s sons, Jonathan, Jr., and Holt, joined the company some time ago as Vice Presidents and continue to carry out with their father his original vision.
SERVICES AND AMENITIES
The Tradition-Clearfork provides luxurious, resort-style living with ultra-inclusive services and amenities, for which The Tradition has been known: 24-hour Concierge; beautiful, light-filled residences and common areas, including lounges and card rooms; restaurant-style dining in multiple venues serving New American cuisine with global influences and select wines and spirits; a movie theater; a secure parking garage with controlled access; some of the area’s largest one- and two-bedroom apartment homes; guest suites; fun and informative daily activities and fitness/wellness programs; lush landscaping; a dog park; and transportation.
Comprehensive fitness areas include an indoor pool, a weight room, a Pilates room, a group-exercise room for classes taught by in-house certified fitness instructors, and a Physical Therapy Center.
The safety and well-being of the residents are always top-of-mind at The Tradition, and state-of-the-art security measures, including access control and security cameras, are established throughout the community. An extremely important feature is the natural gas generator that provides an electrical backup system for the entire community.
BEAUTY
The Tradition-Clearfork’s spacious common areas retain the classic, elegant themes previously established by The Tradition – beautiful, English antiques in airy, livable rooms. Much of the antiques, art, and furniture for the common areas was purchased for The Tradition-Clearfork in England by an internationally acclaimed design team. This team, which designed the interiors for The Tradition-Clearfork, is based in New York, Houston, and London.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
The Tradition-Clearfork creates more than 200 new jobs in the Fort Worth market. Further, it is anticipated that, as with other Tradition communities, the residents will be active in the Fort Worth community, working on worthy causes and giving back.
LOCATION
In addition to being situated on the banks of the Trinity River near The Shops at Clearfork and also near Texas Health Clearfork, The Tradition-Clearfork is two miles west of Texas Christian University, two miles south of Westover Hills, and less than 15 minutes from downtown Fort Worth.
ARCHITECT, CONSTRUCTION, MANAGEMENT
Jackson & Ryan Architects and Rogers-O’Brien Construction served as the architect and general contractor, with the engineering firm, Telios, having overseen all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP).
