Municipal elections are just around the corner, and dozens of candidates have lined up to run for seats across Tarrant County.
The last day to file for a spot on the May 4 ballot was Feb. 16. Write-in candidates have until Feb. 20 to declare their candidacy, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s office.
April 4 is the last day to register to vote for the May 4 election.
Early voting begins April 22 and ends April 30. The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is April 23, and the deadline to return a ballot by mail is May 4.
